Single-mode optical transmitter card for 8 analogue audio signals (dedicated CWDM tuned laser, wavelength matched to ITU grid spacing)

The BC620T enables the transmission of multiple line-level analogue audio channels over a single optical fibre. All inputs are buffered and then converted by full 24-bit A/D conversion before being multiplexed into a single optical data stream.

The BC620T is particularly suited to multi-channel audio transport and applications requiring audio transport independent of embedded video or audio signals.

All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity, offering excellent jitter-free optical transport. The BC620T is available in multimode, single-mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application.

The BC620T can be used with a BC630R enabling analogue inputs to feed AES outputs.

The BC620T occupies a single slot in the 19" BC100-3RU chassis which can accommodate up to 15 single-slot cards. Some BC series processing cards have dual functionality allowing transmission or reception of up to 30 video channels from a single 3RU chassis.

Signal and card monitoring is performed via SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card.
Alternatively, GP output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.
For standalone applications, the BC620T can be housed in a robust individual enclosure.
