Single mode optical transmitter card for 4 AES audio signals (dedicated CWDM laser). (Wavelength matched to ITU grid spacing)

The BC630T is a transmitter for digital audio transport over fibre optic capable of carrying 4 AES/EBU audio channels. The incoming signal is automatically detected then equalised before multiplexing, conversion and transmission over a single fibre optic cable. All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity, offering excellent jitter-free optical transport.

The BC630T card can be used with a BC620R unit allowing AES inputs to feed line-level analogue outputs. The BC630T is available in multimode, single mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application.

The BC630T occupies a single slot in the BC100-3RU 19″ chassis which can accommodate up to 15 single-slot cards. Some BC series processing cards have dual functionality allowing up to 30 video channels to be transmitted or received from a single 3RU chassis.
Signal and card monitoring is carried out via SNMP monitoring in the BM102 network card.

For standalone applications, the BC630T can be housed in a robust individual enclosure.
