Multimode optical receiver card for 4 AES audio signals. Fitted with LC connectors as standard

The BC630R is a receiver enabling conversion of an optical signal into 4 AES/EBU digital audio channels. The incoming optical signal is directed to a transimpedance and limiting amplifier before being electrically resynchronised at the outputs.
All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity, providing excellent optical transport without jitter.

The BC630R card can be used with a BC620T unit allowing analogue line level inputs to feed AES digital audio outputs. Dual AES outputs are provided for each channel to ensure local monitoring as well as main transmission feed.
The BC630R is available in multimode, single-mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application.

The BC630R occupies a single slot in the rack-mountable 19" 3RU BC100 chassis which can accommodate up to 15 single-slot cards. Some BC series processing cards have dual functionality allowing transmission or reception of up to 30 video channels from a single 3RU chassis.
Signal and card monitoring is carried out via SNMP monitoring in the BM102 network card.

For stand-alone applications, the BC630R can be housed in a robust individual enclosure.
