The BC630R is a receiver for converting an optical signal into 4 channels of AES/EBU digital audio. The incoming optical signal is directed to a transimpedance and limiting amplifier before being electrically resynchronised to the outputs.
All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity, providing excellent jitter-free optical transport.

The BC630R card can be used with a BC620T unit allowing analogue line level inputs to feed AES digital audio outputs. Dual AES outputs are provided for each channel to ensure local monitoring as well as a main transmission feed.
The BC630R is available in multimode, single-mode, WDM and CWDM variants to suit any fibre application.

The BC630R occupies a single slot in the BC100-3RU 19" rack chassis which can accommodate up to 15 single-slot cards. Some BC series processing cards have dual functionality allowing transmission or reception of up to 30 video channels from a single 3RU chassis.
Signal and card monitoring is performed via SNMP monitoring in the BM102 network card.

For standalone applications, the BC630R can be housed in a rugged individual enclosure.
