Single-mode dual fibre GPI and data transceiver card with LC connectors

The BC720 is a transceiver card allowing the transmission and reception of 4 x independent GPIO signals plus 4 x RS232 or RS422/485 level signals via fibre optic cable using two independent wavelengths. The 4 x GPIO input signals are TTL level inputs with the 4 x GPIO outputs provided via isolated relay contact.

The BC720 will also operate in mixed mode allowing RS232 to RS422/485 links eliminating the need for external mode converters.

All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity offering excellent jitter-free optical transport.

The BC720 is available in multimode and single-mode versions to suit any fibre application.

The BC720 occupies a single slot in the 19" rack chassis BC100-3RU which can accommodate up to 15 single-slot cards. This dual functionality allows the transmission or reception of up to 30 video channels from a single 3RU chassis.
Signal and card monitoring is via SNMP monitoring in the BM101 network card.
Alternatively, GP-Output alarms can be triggered via the BM100 module.

For standalone applications, the BC720 can be housed in a robust individual enclosure.
