10/100/1000BaseT to 1000Base-EX (CWDM) Dual Single-Mode Fibre Optic Ethernet Converter Card CWDM Long Distance 40km Transceiver The BC860 is a twisted pair copper to fibre optic media converter for conversion between 10Base-T, 100Base-T or 1000Base-T twisted pair copper data and 100Base-FX or 1000Base-X fibre optic format. It provides two channels (full duplex) of data transmission with 10/100/1000BaseT duplex auto-negotiation. Data isolation transformers are provided for the twisted pair input and output. LEDs indicate power, network activity and fibre activity. All Bluebell cards are designed to maintain maximum signal path integrity, offering excellent jitter-free optical transport. The BC860 is available in multimode and single-mode versions to suit any fibre application. Versions can be selected to allow full duplex operation over two fibres or a single fibre. CWDM versions are available to support ITU G.694.2 grid specifications. The BC860 occupies a single slot in the BC100-3RU 19" rack chassis which can accommodate up to 15 single cards. The compact 1RU BC160 is available for up to six cards. Signal and card monitoring is achieved via SNMP monitoring in the BM102 network card. For standalone applications, the BC860 can be housed in a rugged individual enclosure. specifications
