PS12 power supply ordered separately. The BC323T is a transmitter module for converting two independent 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI signals to fibre optic cable. Each incoming signal is automatically detected, then equalised and reclocked before conversion and transmission via separate single fibre optic. Each BC323T is housed in a compact and robust enclosure, designed for outside broadcast and special events as well as studios. Power is supplied via the separately sold PS12 unit. The PS12 features an IEC mains input allowing easy adaptation in standard equipment racks. The BC323T has a 4-pin XLR for powering from various external DC sources in the 4.5 to 17 V range. The BC323 are extremely compact dual channel fibre optic converters, perfectly suited to provide interference-free transmission and extend the range of electrical signals, particularly HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals. Each channel can operate in non-reclocking mode and handles data rates from 50 Mb/s to 3 Gb/s. The BC323T is available in single mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application.
