Bluebell single-mode 3G/SDI, HD/SDI
The BC323TR is a transceiver module that converts a 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI signal into an optical cable, and a separate fibre signal into an electrical signal. Each incoming signal is automatically detected, then equalised and re-clocked before conversion and transmission via a separate optical fibre/BNC. Each BC323TR is housed in a compact and robust enclosure, designed for outside broadcasts and special events as well as studio use. Power is supplied via the optional PS12 unit sold separately. The PS12 features an IEC mains input allowing easy adoption into standard equipment racks. The BC323TR is fitted with a 4-pin XLR allowing power from various external DC sources in the range of 4.5 to 17 V. The BC323TRs are extremely compact dual-channel fibre optical converters, ideally suited to provide interference-free transmission and to extend the range of electrical signals, in particular HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals. Each channel can operate in non-re-clocked mode and handles data rates from 50 Mb/s to 3 Gb/s. The BC323TR is available in single-mode, WDM and CWDM versions to suit any fibre application. The BC323TR can also be used to interface with any standard Bluebell card or enclosure.
