Neumann microphone capsule for SKM 5200 (Black)
The black Neumann KK 105S capsule combines with Sennheiser SKM 5200 wireless systems to transfer sound into the wireless domain, thus opening new dimensions for sophisticated live performance engineering.
In terms of engineering, the KK 105S is a wireless variant of the KMS 105, 140 and 150 wired vocal microphone family. It inherits not only their tonal characteristics and impressive specifications, but also their robustness and effectiveness in suppressing pop and handling noise.
The Sennheiser SKM 5200 handheld transmitters are advanced versions of the SKM 5000, optimised for the capsule, and ensure reliable, interference-free and high-quality transmission of the capsule's signal to the corresponding Sennheiser receiver. The capsule is available in a black nickel finish to complement the handheld transmitter. It also comes in a spacious tour-resistant nylon pouch, large enough to hold not only the capsule, but also the transmitter (sold separately), battery packs (sold separately) and additional accessories (sold separately).
This robust capsule features an integrated foam pop shield instead of a metal mesh for even better attenuation of plosives. In addition, the foam material offers a very large surface area and can therefore absorb moisture very effectively.
