Rode VMMC - VideoMic ME-C

If you create videos on your Android device and want better audio quality than that provided by your phone, the Rode VideoMic Me-C deserves your attention. It is a directional microphone that connects directly to your compatible smartphone or tablet via its USB-C connection. The microphone focuses audio capture on what is directly in front of the capsule thanks to its cardioid polar pattern. It is primarily designed for use with USB-C devices, although it features a 3.5 mm TRS jack socket that can be used for monitoring or analogue backup recording, provided the microphone is connected to a USB-C port. Although the microphone can mount directly to your USB port, it comes with a dedicated microphone clip if you prefer to use one, as well as a foam windshield to improve sound in windy conditions.
