The Neumann TLM 107 nickel is a high-quality, flexible large-diaphragm condenser microphone with five selectable polar patterns, designed to suit a wide variety of professional studio, broadcast and demanding home recording applications. The TLM 107 is designed with a transformerless circuit that allows a high degree of linearity and a wide dynamic range. Featuring selectable omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-8 polar patterns, this microphone is suited to a wide range of recording techniques and configurations. The microphone also features -6 dB and -12 dB attenuators that can be engaged to record louder sound sources such as brass instruments or guitar amplifiers. In addition, it features selectable high-pass filters at 40 Hz and 100 Hz to filter out unwanted low frequencies, saving you time during mixing. - Low self-noise of 10 dB-A - Maximum sound pressure level of 141 dB SPL, which can be raised to 153 dB SPL with the attenuator - Menu-controlled high-pass filter and attenuator - Attenuator and high-pass filter status indicated by LED - Illuminated polar pattern display - Light displays switch off automatically after 15 seconds
