The KM183-A NX consists of an omnidirectional KK 183 capsule and a KM A amplifier, both in nextel finish. The KM A / KM D modular miniature microphone system is an evolution of the KM 100 series. The new passive capsule design is available with 8 different polar patterns, and can be combined in a modular fashion with either an analogue output stage (KM A) or a digital one (KM D) in accordance with the AES 42 standard. The new microphone capsules, significantly smaller, and an extended accessories programme allow excellent adaptation of the microphone system to a wide range of applications. Thanks to the use of the most modern electronic components, the system offers numerous electroacoustic and operational advantages, such as reduced self-noise, extended dynamic range and very high immunity to electromagnetic interference. The capsule acoustics have been carried over from the proven KM 100 system.
