The Sennheiser E614 is a supercardioid electret condenser microphone designed for general recording and sound reinforcement applications. The E614 offers high SPL response and fast transient response, making it ideal for drums, percussion, bass, guitar, brass and other instruments rich in transient response. The supercardioid directivity is effective at minimising noise and ambience in the off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. The wide, flat frequency response from 20Hz to 40kHz makes it suitable for use on both vocals and instruments.
- Excellent transient response
- The fast transient response allows the E614 to reproduce transient peaks without distortion or noise.
