The XT-4 is a high-quality 12"/1.4" CD (3.5" compression driver) speaker system with exceptional build quality, maximum flexibility, good handling and excellent sound capabilities. It is equipped with the latest Neodymium chassis and weighs only approximately 21 kg. The XT-4 is perfectly suited for vocal and musical full-range applications. This compact speaker also produces exceptional sound when used in a system with subwoofers (XS-4 active sub, XS-4 passive). The asymmetrical housing shape with 55° mount also allows the XT-4 to be used as a powerful stage monitor system. We always integrate a sophisticated passive filter with electronic high-frequency protection so you can use the XT-4 with any professional amplifier. For maximum sound performance and reliability, we recommend our DSP digital amplifiers (e.g. D-2.1500). For suspended applications, the VXT-3 mounting bracket and integrated ring allow the XT-4 to be fixed quickly and safely in compliance with all regulations. Even when using a speaker stand, the mounting bracket ensures that the speaker is perfectly directed towards the audience, ensuring maximum sound quality. 2 recessed handles and minimal weight make the speaker extremely easy to transport. The housings are manufactured from quality birch multiplex wood and covered with a resistant composite textured varnish. The XT-4 is also available with weather-resistant plastic coating on request.
High-performance 12" / 1.4" speaker
Powerful speaker system, perfectly suited for vocal and musical full-range applications, equipped with a 12" mid-bass chassis and a 1.4" CD horn - entirely in neodymium. The speaker system features a constant directivity horn with a defined beam dispersion of 80° x 50°. The speaker system has a high-quality enclosure manufactured from multi-layer birch multiplex plywood. The enclosure is sealed, grooved and screwed, and covered with a durable black textured paint. To protect the speaker and its electronics, the enclosure features an impact-resistant steel front grille, permeable to sound, with hydrophobic and dust-proof acoustic foam. The asymmetrical shape of the enclosure and its 55° angle also allow the system to be used as a stage monitor. For suspended applications and tripod mounting, the system is equipped with lateral M8 threads to accommodate an optional mount. An integrated safety eyelet allows secure fixing of the system in compliance with BGC-C1 regulations. Easily transportable thanks to its low weight (only 21 kg) and two recessed handles.
