The Yamaha CZR10 black is a passive 2-way enclosure designed for front-of-house/FOH and stage monitor applications. From live bands at open-air festivals to club DJs, the enclosure is perfectly suited to a variety of live sound reinforcement environments and fixed installations. The CZR10 requires 700 W of power to drive the 10" woofer and the 2" compression driver, which combined deliver a frequency range of 43 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB) with a maximum SPL of 127 dB. The rotatable horn allows vertical or horizontal mounting to better adapt to the acoustic dimensions of a venue. The constant directivity (CD) horn has been designed to provide uniform and consistent coverage across the intended coverage area, minimising the common attenuation found in conventional horn designs.
To maximise performance, the CZR10 can be configured for bi-amplification, allowing two independent amplification channels to drive the woofer and compression driver separately. Yamaha recommends using a DSP speaker processor or a power amplifier with built-in DSP, such as Yamaha's PX series amplifiers, to adjust filters, limiting and equalisation to ensure optimal performance. The rear panel features two Neutrik speakON NL4MP connectors, wired in parallel and allowing the daisy-chaining of additional enclosures. There are eight M10 rigging points and two M8 rigging points for permanent installations, as well as two pole cups (0° & -7°) for mobile deployment.
