The Yamaha CZR12 black passive 2-way loudspeaker is designed for front-of-house/FOH and stage monitor applications. From bands performing at outdoor festivals to club DJs, this loudspeaker is perfectly suited to a variety of live sound reinforcement environments and fixed installations. The CZR12 requires 800 W of power to drive the 12" woofer and 2" compression driver, which combine to deliver a frequency response of 43 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB) with a maximum SPL of 129 dB. The rotatable horn allows vertical or horizontal mounting to better suit the acoustic dimensions of a venue. The constant directivity (CD) horn has been designed to provide uniform and balanced coverage across the intended coverage area, minimising the level loss common in conventional horn designs. To maximise performance, the CZR12 can be configured for bi-amplification, allowing two independent amplification channels to separately power the woofer and compression driver. Yamaha recommends using a DSP loudspeaker processor or a power amplifier with built-in DSP, such as Yamaha's PX series amplifiers, to adjust filters, limiting and equalisation for optimum performance. The rear panel features two Neutrik SpeakON NL4MP connectors, wired in parallel and allowing additional loudspeakers to be connected in series. There are twelve M10 rigging points for permanent installations as well as two pole cup sockets (0 and -7°) for mobile deployment.
