The Yamaha DXS18XLF black is a powered subwoofer designed to extend the low frequencies of full-range speakers and is perfectly suited for use with any powered speaker in the DZR series. The 1600W Class D amplifier powers the 18" woofer to provide a frequency range of 30 to 150 Hz (-10 dB) with a maximum sound pressure level of 136 dB.nnThe built-in 96 kHz D-XSUB LF processor offers total bass management. Normal mode is ideal for a balanced low-frequency response, while Boost mode provides tighter and more focused bass with a bit more punch. The Xtended LF mode lowers the bass frequencies even further for a big sound in the low end. When using two or more subwoofers, selecting Cardioid mode can effectively reduce the volume on stage, while increasing the low-frequency output directed towards the audience.nnThe rear panel offers two XLR-1/4" combo inputs with XLR thru/out outputs and dedicated level controls. A USB port allows for system updates and preset configuration and saving.
