The Mackie DRM218S is a 2000 W powered subwoofer with an 18-inch speaker, designed for mid-sized theatres and large concert venues, as well as DJs, clubs, houses of worship and rental systems. The built-in Class D amplifier uses professional-grade protection and power factor correction (PFC) technology to ensure optimum performance, while the Advanced Impulse DSP provides acoustic correction and time alignment via precisely tuned FIR filters for clear, punchy sound. The DRM Control panel features a high-contrast colour display for quick access to equalisation, sound reinforcement modes and much more. A professional 18-inch woofer is housed in the 15 mm plywood cabinet with textured coating and internal bracing to deliver optimum acoustic performance, while the direct-radiating design with front port delivers maximum punch and deep low-frequency response with a range of 35 to 150 Hz (-10 dB) and a peak SPL of 135 dB. The rear panel features two independent input channels with full-range direct outputs and high-pass outputs. The integrated pole mount is designed for use with DRM Series speakers or other pole-mountable speakers.
