Low-profile ceiling speakers designed for superior music reproduction
Music can play an essential role in defining the aesthetics and atmosphere of a commercial space, significantly enhancing the overall customer experience. By combining Yamaha's unrivalled expertise in musical instrument development and cutting-edge professional audio technologies with a flexible approach to design and application, the VXC-F ceiling speakers streamline the installation process and seamlessly integrate high-quality sound into a restaurant, retail or professional environment. Equipped with a newly designed driver optimised for music playback, the VXC-F's lightweight, shallow construction and flexible design can easily accommodate the most stringent installation constraints, ensuring excellent audio performance wherever they are placed.
Delivers the finest background music quality
Yamaha's deep understanding of music combines with cutting-edge technology in newly designed drivers and resin enclosures that allow extraordinary acoustic design freedom, resulting in refined and natural music reproduction at any volume without the midrange distortion that often affects speakers of this type. The VXC-F driver size and rear enclosure volume have also been meticulously matched to achieve balanced reproduction from bass to high frequencies, even at low output levels.
Recommended applications
Restaurant, café, bar, boutiques, spa, museum, hotel lobby, ballroom, etc.
Smart design for safer and faster installation
VXC-F ceiling speakers feature low-profile rear enclosures, reduced weight and mechanical characteristics that contribute to a noticeably safer and faster installation. And as these models support both low and high impedance connections, the need for additional stock is minimised and systems can be designed to ideally meet the requirements of any application.
High or low impedance
Both high impedance and low impedance connections are supported, and the speaker power can be easily switched even after installation.
Low profile
The reduced physical depth allows installation in ceilings where space is limited.
Lightweight
The reduced weight increases installation flexibility whilst easing the burden on installation staff.
Portable
An integrated "carrying strap" not only makes it easier to carry the speaker, but also increases safety when working on a ladder.
Secure
An anti-drop tab mechanism holds the speaker firmly in place so that installation can proceed safely and efficiently. There is also a release lever that allows easy removal of the speaker from the ceiling if required.
Fast
The double-threaded screws used for the speaker clamping mechanism allow the clamps to be tightened twice as fast as conventional screws.
Clean
The supplied speaker grilles are held firmly and elegantly in place by powerful magnets. An anti-drop cable is also included.
Paintable
The supplied grilles can be painted in any colour to match the interior décor.
EN54-24 certified versions with uncompromised performance
Yamaha also offers "VA versions" that meet the European EN54-24 requirements for voice alarm systems. These models have been carefully tuned to retain the natural reproduction quality of musical instruments and voice that characterises all VXC-F speakers, delivering refined background music in normal operation whilst ensuring exceptional clarity for emergency broadcasts. The ability to support both music playback and emergency broadcasts with a single speaker type helps reduce system complexity and cost.
