Profoto Connect Wireless Transmitter for Sony
With the Profoto Connect wireless transmitter for Sony cameras, you have a wireless connection with AirTTL flashes that controls flash sync, remote control, Auto TTL and HSS. The transmitter also controls flash sync and remote control of Air flashes. There are three settings on the Connect transmitter itself. Auto mode, the first one, eliminates all guesswork when setting up your flashes. Manual setting is there if you want to adjust the flashes yourself and be more creative. The last setting, of course, is to turn it off when the transmitter is not in use.
By downloading the Profoto app and with a Bluetooth connection, you can also control your wireless flashes and update your firmware later via the app. The Connect operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency and up to eight channels with an operational range of 1000' when using normal flash sync and remote control, and 330' with Auto TTL and HSS. The built-in lithium-ion polymer battery has a 30-hour battery life and is rechargeable via the included USB cable. Additionally, the transmitter turns off after 60 minutes of inactivity.
