With the EL-Skyport Pro Transmitter for Nikon, Elinchrom has introduced a revolutionary wireless solution compatible with three generations of transceivers and flash heads, offering Hi-Sync speeds up to 1/8000 sec.
The 20-channel transmitter is immediately recognizable thanks to its large LCD screen that displays each flash in your setup. The Skyport Pro will control the modeling lamp and flash intensity of BRX, D-Lite RX, ELC Pro HD and ELB flash heads as well as the EL-Skyport RX transceiver for Style RX, Digital RX and Ranger RX systems. Operating on the 2.4 GHz frequency, it also features improved wireless range, triggering and controlling your flash heads at a distance of 60 m indoors and 200 m outdoors.
One of the most exciting features of the transceiver is Hi-Sync technology which allows you to use shutter speeds up to 1/8000 of a second, much shorter than your camera's standard sync speed. Whether you're using it to overpower the sun, freeze action, darken backgrounds or select wider apertures, Hi-Sync opens up a new realm of exposure possibilities. You can even fine-tune the transmitter's trigger signal with ODS (Over Drive Sync) for optimal exposures at high shutter speeds.
The EL-Skyport Pro transmitter operates on AA batteries and features a mini-USB connection for firmware updates, ensuring its future-proofing.

The Skyport Pro's large LCD screen features two-way control via a visual feedback interface that lets you see the exact power of each flash in your setup directly on the transmitter. Users control the power level and modeling lamp setting of each flash directly from the Skyport transmitter, which instantly displays updated power settings.

Go beyond your camera's X-sync. Photographers can simply switch to Hi-Sync mode and access sync speeds up to 1/8000s to freeze motion, overpower the sun, darken backgrounds or use a wider aperture. The new ODS (Over Drive Sync) allows users to fine-tune the Skyport plus HS transmitter's trigger signal to optimize exposure at high shutter speeds while gaining up to two additional stops of light.

The Skyport Pro represents a perfect extension to the EL-Skyport family as it's also compatible with the previous three generations of flash units, including the EL-Skyport RX transceiver module for Style RX, Digital RX and Ranger RX systems and built-in EL-Skyport modules for BRX, D-Lite RX, ELC Pro HD and ELB series. The Skyport Pro adds sync capability and two-way control functionality to all Elinchrom flashes equipped with EL-Skyport technology.

Individual flashes automatically appear on screen, and you can adjust settings on either the transceiver or the flash itself.
