A ball head (lollipop) is necessary to mount a Kino Flo fixture onto a lighting stand or grid adapter. Many Kino Flo fixtures do not include a ball head when ordered separately. This is a shorter version of a standard ball head, to be used when space is limited or a wide range of tilt and rotation is not necessary. The rounded end allows tilting and rotation of the fixture, the 45° curve of the shaft keeps the fixture away from the sections of your stand. It mounts onto any baby stud or stand head (16 mm).
