The professional studio rail system is a modular lighting suspension system that can be expanded or modified according to your needs. It allows for precise positioning of lights with ease and speed, eliminating the clutter of light stands and power cables on the floor. The systems use a combination of rails, trolleys, telescopic poles, and manual spring/cable or motorized pantographs.

This is a 3-pantograph system, for a large studio.


- The aluminium rails in this kit measure 9' 10" and 13' 3".
- This kit includes 2 fixed rails and 2 mobile rails.
- The pantograph supports a load of up to 26 lbs suspended from 1' 6" to 6' 6" using only the friction device, while loads up to a maximum of 40 lbs require the use of optional springs. The pantograph can be adjusted to maintain perfect balance for loads from 2 lbs to 10 lbs. The coloured ring allows for adjustment of the pantograph's friction; this will ensure that the load remains stable once in position, while allowing smooth up and down movement when necessary. It is advisable to use springs to facilitate lifting of the pantograph.
- Each pantograph extends from 1'6" to 6'6".
- Nylon wheels with metal ball bearings ensure safe operation with loads up to 39.5 lbs.
- Extruded aluminium rails allow efficient use of perimeter walls and studio corners for backlighting, curtains and backdrop paper.
- All components are black, to eliminate unwanted reflections.
- Accessories can be ordered separately, to increase and customise the system according to your specific needs.


Note:


- Sliding rails cannot be joined. To connect two fixed rails, use code FF3208.
- You must always support the junction of two rails with a ceiling fixture placed on the junction itself.


Note:


- Mobile rails longer than 118" must be supported by more than two fixed rails.
- The maximum distance between these fixed rails is 78.7".
