Thanks to the advanced Auto PTZ Framing function, the camera automatically tracks the target in a comfortable view with smooth pan-tilt-zoom movement, regardless of posture, movement, and clothing worn. Since the camera does most of the work automatically, the operator can use their time efficiently.
Auto PTZ Framing with integrated AI analysis
This camera uses powerful AI-based video analytics that can automatically detect and track the position of a presenter within the camera frame. As the presenter moves, the camera's pan/tilt/zoom mechanism ensures the presenter is always framed naturally, without a human operator needing to manually follow their movements.
Automatically and reliably records videos for you
Thanks to Sony's newly developed AI analysis algorithm, it detects and tracks the subject, even when there are multiple people in the frame.
Choice of three shooting modes
The camera offers a choice of three shooting modes: Full Body, Waist, and Close-up. In each mode, you can select the centre, left, or right viewing angle, and the SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 can automatically track the subject in the selected optimal position.
Integrated tally light
The SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 feature an integrated tally light, as found on professional studio cameras. The light illuminates to give presenters a visual confirmation of the recording status, or to indicate that Auto PTZ Framing mode is active. The colour of the light will change from red (Live) to green (Auto PTZ Framing enabled).
Remote Control of PTZ Operation
The camera's pan/tilt/zoom movements and other functions can all be precisely controlled using the supplied infrared remote control, for convenient wireless control of PTZ functions without requiring additional equipment. It can also be controlled using the optional RM-IP500 remote control, like professional broadcast cameras.
Convenient control from a PC or tablet
The camera's functions can also be remotely controlled from a networked PC or tablet using our intuitive web application.
