Designed to support fully equipped studio and OB cameras with their long lenses, 7-inch viewfinder or large teleprompter, the Magnum is an extremely compact fluid head that includes a patented counterweight system as well as an advanced fluid damping module.
Made with ultra-resistant aluminium alloy, the Magnum enables movements of extraordinary precision and considerably elevated traction power.
The unique and patented counterweight system is well suited for working with cameras having a high centre of gravity and a weight ranging from 40 to 95 kg (88 to 209 pounds).
Cameras in this range can be perfectly balanced thanks to the 130° tilt angle.
Calibrated with a variable adjustment linked to a digital readout screen, the counterweight knob is correctly positioned on the side of the head.
The frictionless fluid damping modules also feature a patented design that offers superb performance over a wide temperature range, with smooth and precise movements and linear response in any critical environment.
The infinitely adjustable fluid control knobs on the sides of the head have an innovative foldable design and are easily accessible.
They are connected to a digital reader that allows the camera operator to set up quickly even in low-light conditions.
The actual control brakes on pan and tilt modes are positioned on the left front side of the control panel and can be operated with one hand.
Two threaded holes for teleprompter rods are installed at the front of the sliding platform.
The Magnum fits directly onto the Heavy Duty tripod with Mitchell flat base and can easily be mounted on all existing pedestals that have 4 holes.
The wedge-shaped camera plate has a quick release and a wide range of centering plates for micrometric balance adjustment.
