The Sony XDCAM Quad-Layer Professional Disc PFD128QLW with a capacity of 128 GB can hold up to 128 GB to record HD and SD material from XDCAM recorders compatible with Quad-Layer media. This write-once random access disc uses Sony's blue laser technology and features robust construction, making it an ideal solution for long-term archiving.
The 128 GB capacity of the Quad-Layer XDCAM Professional Disc represents a significant improvement over previous Dual-Layer discs which contain 50 GB. The PFD128QLW is capable of offloading, for example, the content of two 64 GB SxS-1 memory cards. The PFD128QLW also offers increased transfer speed compared to the previous generation.
