Kramer RapidRun Digital Plenum Cable, 4.6 m (15 feet)
These commercial-grade digital plenum cables are ideal for routing audio/video cables through the plenum space above false ceilings or under raised floors. Previous solutions required the installation of conduits through the plenum space before pulling the cable. This added complexity, time and cost to the installation. This new range offers additional flexibility and options to integrators and installers serving commercial markets who must comply with strict building code requirements for cabling in plenum spaces.
Available for HDMI®, DVI and DVI+3.5 mm audio signals, these cables comply with the CMP* rating, the highest fire resistance rating published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) in the National Electric Code (NEC). This ensures they can meet the requirements of virtually any commercial installation.
Supporting resolutions up to 1080p for displays and up to 1920x1200 for computers, and with lengths from 4.6 to 30.5 m - RapidRun digital plenum is the perfect connectivity solution for audiovisual equipment used in classrooms or conference rooms. Each cable includes a connector with a strain relief cap capable of withstanding a tension of 13.6 kg - enabling safe and easy installation in conduits. 24 AWG shielded copper conductors protect against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference to ensure uninterrupted performance. High-quality materials and construction, along with rigorous factory testing, ensure reliable long-term performance.
*CMP is equivalent to the FT6 classification in Canada.
