Kramer RapidRun Digital Plenum Cable, 10.7 m (35 ft)
These commercial-grade digital plenum cables are ideal for routing audio/video cables in the plenum space above suspended ceilings or below raised floors. Previous solutions required the installation of conduits through the plenum space before routing the cables. This added complexity, time and cost to the installation. This new range offers additional flexibility and options to integrators and installers serving commercial markets who must comply with the strict requirements of building codes for cabling in plenum spaces.
Available for HDMI®, DVI and DVI+audio 3.5 mm signals, these cables meet the CMP* rating, the highest fire resistance rating published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) in the National Electric Code (NEC). This ensures they can meet the requirements of virtually any commercial installation.
Supporting resolutions up to 1080p for displays and up to 1920x1200 for computers, and with lengths ranging from 4.6 to 30.5 m — the digital plenum RapidRun is the perfect connectivity solution for audiovisual equipment used in classrooms or conference rooms. Each main cable includes a connector with a protective cap capable of withstanding a pulling force of 13.6 kg — enabling safe and easy installation in conduits. Shielded 24 AWG copper conductors protect against electromagnetic and radio interference to ensure uninterrupted performance. High-quality materials and construction, along with rigorous factory testing, guarantee reliable long-term performance.
*CMP is equivalent to the FT6 rating in Canada.
Note: Each complete RapidRun solution requires a detachable passive flying lead or a passive wall plate to terminate each end of the main cable.
