Kramer RapidRun Digital Plenum Trunk Cable, 30.5 m (100 feet)
These commercial-grade digital plenum trunk cables are ideal for routing audio/video cables through plenum spaces above suspended ceilings or below raised floors. Previous solutions required the installation of conduits through the plenum space before running the cable. This added complexity, time and cost to the installation. This new range offers additional flexibility and options to integrators and installers serving commercial markets who must comply with the strict requirements of building codes for cabling in plenum spaces.
Available for HDMI®, DVI and DVI+3.5 mm audio signals, these cables comply with the CMP* standard, the highest fire resistance rating published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) in the National Electric Code (NEC). This ensures they can meet the requirements of virtually any commercial installation.
Supporting resolutions up to 1080p for displays and up to 1920x1200 for computers, and with lengths ranging from 4.6 m to 30.5 m − RapidRun digital plenum is the perfect connectivity solution for audiovisual equipment used in classrooms or conference rooms. Each trunk cable includes a connector with an anti-pull protective cap capable of supporting 13.6 kg of tension − allowing safe and easy installation in conduits. The 24 AWG shielded copper conductors protect against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference to ensure uninterrupted performance. High-quality materials and construction, along with rigorous factory testing, ensure reliable long-term performance.
*CMP is equivalent to the FT6 standard in Canada.
Note: Each complete RapidRun solution requires a detachable passive flying lead or a passive wall plate to terminate each end of the trunk cable.
