Portabrace fleece cover for Sony FS7M2
The POL-FS7M2 Polar Bear camera cover is designed to keep the Sony PXW-FS7M2 warm in cold weather. It has a black nylon fabric exterior, is heavily padded and constructed with high-loft insulation. The interior is lined with phase change material (PCM) that stabilises temperature and helps keep warm air in the camera chamber. Air-activated hand warmers can be placed inside the case to maintain interior temperatures in extreme cold conditions (Portabrace Polar covers have been tested down to minus 50 degrees Fahrenheit).
The POL-FS7M2 can be used with a sunshade or standard lens. The attached insulated lens cap protects the lens during transport and prevents condensation from forming when the camera and Polar Bear case move from cold to indoors.
Hook-and-loop strips line the Polar Bear's interior to accommodate optional air-activated hand warmers (Portabrace Polar Heat Packs).
Two hand openings at the lens and one near the viewfinder are surrounded by cotton cuffs that keep hands warm.
The POL-FS7M2 has three sets of zips that make putting on and removing the cover easy. The fitted bottom zip surrounds the tripod plate, preventing cold from entering when the camera is used on a tripod.
