The blue Porta-Brace CBA-PX800 protective cover for the Panasonic PX800 is a custom shoulder protection designed to protect the camcorder from shocks, abrasions and scratches. The exterior is made from 500-denier laminated Cordura nylon. The padded interior of the CBA is lined with breathable Leno mesh to maximise air circulation between the cover and the camera. The cover features vinyl windows to allow reading of the dials and a hook-and-loop fastening flap that provides quick access to the battery. Retractable hatches cover the controls and also protect them from the elements.

The waterproof Rain-Top protection is integrated and stores in its own pocket. It covers the entire top of the camera, including the lens, and provides protection against rain, sleet and snow as well as corrosive atmospheres such as sea air.
