The black CBA-PXWX500B protective cover by Porta Brace is a cover designed for the Sony PXW-X500 camcorder. It is made from a soft, water- and abrasion-resistant fabric, protecting your camera against shocks, impacts and scratches, while reducing the risk of damage caused by rain, dust and other harsh conditions. The vinyl flaps and windows prevent dirt and moisture from entering, while allowing quick visual checks of important indicators, lights and switches.

The rear end of the cover is expandable to accommodate different battery sizes and wireless microphone combinations. The cover includes a reversible rain cover; one side is white to reflect light and heat in hot, dry and sunny situations, while the other is black to absorb solar heat in cold conditions.
