The blue Porta-Brace SC-HPX301 shoulder case for Panasonic AG-HPX301 is a custom-made case designed to protect the camcorder from impacts, abrasion and scratches. The exterior is made of 1000 denier laminated Cordura nylon, complemented by a soft nylon interior with a moisture-resistant foam layer in between. The case features vinyl windows for reading dials and a touch-fastening flap that allows quick access to the battery. Flip-open doors cover the controls and also protect them from the elements.

An integrated waterproof Rain-Top stows away in its own pocket. It covers the entire top of the camera, including the lens, and provides protection against rain, sleet and snow as well as corrosive atmospheres such as sea or air.
