The MKH 8070 long shotgun microphone has been specially designed to capture distant sound sources with optimal quality.
Its very natural sound makes it the ideal choice for major broadcast and sporting events.
Featuring extreme directivity and a pronounced lobar pickup pattern, it will reliably capture that magical moment at distance, even in the most challenging acoustic and weather conditions. The special design of the MKH 8070 ensures attenuation of off-axis sound without colouration. Like all microphones in the 8000 family, it can be easily combined with the MZD 8000 digital module, transforming it into a fully digital microphone.
