Sony DWX Gen3 series plug-in receiver
The DWR-S03D is a 2-channel plug-in digital radio receiver from the DWX series, particularly suited for high-density multi-channel operations in large productions. The receiver belongs to the 3rd generation of the professional DWX series and offers four different codec modes for various applications. MODE1 is compatible with 1st generation DWX devices, MODE2 prioritises low latency while maintaining transmission stability and high audio quality, MODE3 offers additional signal processing and suppresses noise caused by unexpected impulse interference, and MODE4 prioritises audio quality while maintaining transmission stability and low latency. It transmits high-quality 24-bit audio in certain frequency bands (depending on the country). The Cross Remote monitoring and control functions allow remote control via the receiver of the input attenuation, RF frequency selection, RF output power, audio low-pass filter cut-off frequency and standby mode of the associated Sony DWT-B30 bodypack transmitter. This eliminates shooting interruptions and unexpected travel. Delivery includes the DWA-SLAU1 interface adapter with D-Sub 25-pin connector, which can be attached to devices with UniSlot. Optionally, the DWA-SLAS1 interface adapter with D-Sub 15-pin connector is also available, enabling attachment to Sony camcorders.
