Angenieux Optimo Anamorphic 56-152 - Metre
Covering sensor sizes up to 35 mm 4-perf, the Optimo 56-152 mm Anamorphic Zoom Lens (PL, feet) offers a 2x anamorphic squeeze and a 2.7x zoom ratio. This lightweight and compact medium-range lens is part of several zoom options in the Optimo Anamorphic series, each producing Angenieux's characteristic organic look and matching with other Angenieux optics. This PL-mount lens can be quickly changed by a technician to an optional Canon EF or Panavision mount, and is compatible with ASU servo control. Its features include a minimum focusing distance of 25", very low distortion across the entire focal range, and robust construction suitable for a wide temperature range. The Optimo Anamorphic 56-152 mm focus ring offers 320° of rotation, allowing for over 50 precise control marks. Graduated in feet, the focus scale can be exchanged with metric marks. An internal focus design means the lens length remains constant during focus changes, showing no signs of breathing during focus adjustments. The lens features a 114 mm front outer diameter, fitting many standard production matte box systems. This zoom lens incorporates industry-standard 0.8-MOD gears for interfacing with the optional ASU servo unit, zoom motors, follow focus units or wireless F/I/Z systems.
