The Sony FE 70-300mm f4.5-5.6 G OSS telephoto zoom lens joins Sony's already impressive lineup of full-frame E-mount lenses. This lens represents the first Sony alpha E-mount lens to reach 300mm focal length, offering high resolution and excellent overall optical performance throughout its range. The telephoto zoom also features a minimum focus distance of less than 3 feet (0.9m) and a maximum magnification of 0.31x, making it an ideal choice for tele-macro photography.
Key features:
- First E-mount zoom reaching 300mm - Equivalent to 105-450mm on APS-C cameras
- High resolution throughout the zoom range - 4 aspherical elements and 2 ED glass elements suppress aberrations and distortion. Nano AR coating reduces reflections and ghosting
- Unmatched close-up capability for tele-macro - Minimum focus distance of 0.9mm - Maximum magnification of 0.31x
- Optical SteadyShot for sharp images
- Linear actuator enables fast, smooth and quiet autofocus
- 9-blade circular aperture for beautiful bokeh effects
- Compatibility: Full-frame E-mount cameras / APS-C E-mount cameras
