Ideal for wildlife, sport, landscapes, motorsport and countless other photographic activities, the Sigma Sports 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS lens with Leica L mount offers the features and image quality demanded by professionals. This lens delivers high rendering across the entire zoom range and at all apertures, and ghosting, flare and various types of aberrations are all well controlled. An updated and redesigned autofocus system offers both speed and precision by incorporating a stepping motor-driven AF actuator, as well as a high-precision magnetic sensor. Optical image stabilisation provides approximately four stops of compensation, with two standard OS modes for handheld shooting and panning situations. A new zoom torque switch allows users to adjust the resistance level of the lockable zoom ring (locked in wide-angle position for transport), tight (prevents zoom creep) and smooth (for easy and fluid zooming). Additional lens controls include a focus limiter switch, an OS mode switch, a custom switch for personalised OS settings and three customisable AFL buttons. As an integral part of Sigma's Global Vision Sports lens range, the 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports lens is specially designed for daily use in demanding conditions. A dust- and splash-resistant structure protects the lens from water and dust ingress, and a water-repellent and oleophobic coating on the front element resists moisture and fingerprints. The barrel construction is made of aluminium and TSC (Thermally Stable Composite) for an ideal combination of robustness and increased portability. In addition, a magnesium tripod ring with a removable Arca-type foot and 90° stops offers a robust support option. - High optical performance with a compact and lightweight design - Updated optical design comprising 25 elements in 15 groups with 4 FLD elements and 2 ELD elements - High sharpness across the entire zoom range - Up to 4 stops of optical image stabilisation correction with 2 selectable OS modes - Minimum focusing distance of 58 cm at a focal length of 150 mm - 9-blade rounded aperture for smooth, natural bokeh - Fast and precise autofocus using a stepping motor and high-precision magnetic sensor - High build quality with aluminium and Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) components, contributing to its durability, lightness and feel in use - Dust- and splash-resistant structure with water-repellent and oleophobic front coating - Dual-action zoom supporting both zoom ring use and push/pull zoom capability - The new zoom torque switch allows the user to select zoom resistance and securely lock the lens - Additional lens controls include an OS mode switch, a custom switch, a focus limiter and 3 customisable AFL buttons - Includes the robust TS-121 tripod ring with Arca-compatible tripod foot - Compatible with the Sigma TS-81 tripod ring sold separately - Compatible with Sigma TC-1411 1.4x and TC-2011 2x teleconverters for Leica L sold separately - Compatible with the Sigma UD-11 USB dock for Leica L sold separately
