Ideal for wildlife, sports, landscape, motorsports photography and countless other photographic fields, the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports lens for Sony E-mount offers the features and image quality demanded by professionals. This lens delivers high rendering performance throughout the entire zoom range at all apertures, and ghosting, flare, and various types of aberration are all well-controlled. An updated and redesigned autofocus system offers both speed and precision by incorporating a stepping motor-driven AF actuator, as well as a high-precision magnetic sensor. Optical image stabilisation offers approximately four stops of compensation, with two standard OS modes for handheld shooting and panning situations. A new zoom torque switch gives users the ability to adjust the level of resistance in the zoom ring between Locked (locked at the wide end for carrying), Tight (prevents zoom creep), and Smooth (for easy and fluid zooming). Additional controls on the lens include a focus limiter switch, OS mode switch, custom switch for custom OS settings, and three customisable AFL buttons. As part of Sigma's Global Vision Sports line of lenses, the 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports is specifically designed for everyday use in challenging conditions. A dust- and splash-resistant structure protects the lens against water and dust ingress, and a water- and oil-repellent coating on the front element resists moisture and fingerprints. The barrel construction is composed of aluminium and TSC (Thermally Stable Composite) for an ideal combination of durability and improved portability. Additionally, a magnesium tripod mount with removable Arca-type foot and 90° click stops provides a solid support option. - High optical performance with compact size and lightweight design - Updated optical design including 25 elements in 15 groups with 4 FLD and 2 ELD elements - High sharpness throughout the entire zoom range - Up to 4 stops of optical image stabilisation correction with 2 selectable OS modes - Minimum focusing distance of 58 cm at 150mm focal length - 9-blade rounded diaphragm for soft and natural bokeh - Fast and accurate autofocus using a stepping motor and high-precision magnetic sensor - High-quality construction with aluminium and Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) components, contributing to its durability, light weight, and operational feel - Dust- and splash-resistant structure with water- and oil-repellent coating on the front - Dual-action zoom supporting both zoom ring operation and push/pull zooming capability - New zoom torque switch allows the user to select zoom resistance and securely lock the lens - Additional controls on the lens include OS mode switch, custom switch, focus limiter, and 3 customisable AFL buttons - Includes a robust TS-121 tripod mount with Arca-compatible tripod foot - Compatible with Sigma TS-81 tripod mount sold separately
