It features a lightweight magnesium alloy construction, three LD elements to reduce chromatic aberrations, and an eBAND coating for enhanced contrast. The lens offers a maximum aperture range of f/4.5-6.3, a minimum focusing distance of 4.9 ft, and a maximum magnification of 0.28x. It is equipped with Tamron's USD autofocus motor for fast, precise focusing, and a dual MPU control system for responsive performance. The lens also features Tamron's VC image stabilisation for up to 4 stops of compensation, and a sealed, dust- and moisture-resistant construction with a fluorine coating on the front element for protection against dust, dirt, and smudges. The lens is compatible with the optional TAP-in console for precise focus adjustment and firmware updates. |
