This ARRI 19-36 mm T4.2 Anamorphic Ultra Wide Zoom lens is an extremely wide-angle anamorphic zoom lens designed for Super 35 mm sensors. The focus scales are marked in feet, and it features a robust and stable PL mount, which is the standard for cinema lenses. The PL mount incorporates ARRI LDS (Lens Data System) contacts that allow the lens to transmit metadata information to LDS-compatible cameras.
The image appearance produced by the 19 to 36 mm complements the Master Anamorphics, essentially extending the focal length range. Although the lens creates an anamorphic effect, straight lines remain relatively free from distortion. The lens features a telecentric design, which provides extremely uniform illumination across the entire sensor. In addition to the telecentric design, the lens exhibits minimal breathing during focus, and you can focus all the way to the front element.
