The black Voice Technologies VT403WATER Miniature Lavalier Microphone is a rugged, waterproof mic built to provide clear and reliable vocal and speech reproduction in challenging environments and applications, including sports, broadcast and TV, film, theater, outdoor shoots, and more. With its ability to handle SPLs up to 136 dB, the lav is more than capable of delivering clear, distortion-free sound—even for loud vocalists and performers. The VT403WATER features a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz and has a forgiving omnidirectional polar pattern that picks up sound 360° around the capsule, helping to ensure consistent levels, even if the talent turns somewhat away from the capsule.
The VT403WATER is an IPX-7 certified waterproof version of the VT403 lavalier microphone and can endure 30 minutes of water submersion at a depth up to 3.3'. It features a standard, non-reinforced 5.9' cable, making the mic less expensive that the WA version, which offers a heavy-duty reinforced cable. This configuration of the microphone does not include any accessories.
