The CS2740 displays images, videos and graphics in crisp, detailed, and unaltered quality. Thanks to the USB-C connection, the CS2740 becomes the central interface of the graphical workflow of demanding creative professionals.
4K UHD resolution
Thanks to the resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD), the monitor has the enormous pixel density of 164 ppi. The visible pixels of the screen are therefore guaranteed as a thing of the past and the screen display already gives a very significant impression of the subsequent print resolution. Movies can be rated, cut and graded with the CS2740 in full 4K UHD resolution.
Coverage of a large color space
A large color space can display the entire Adobe RGB color space so that photos taken in Adobe RGB format are displayed correctly. Colors in photos that show bright blue skies and very green forests are true to life, which displays with sRGB color space do not. The large color space guarantees the full display of the CMYK color system (ISO Coated and US Web Coated).
Wide viewing angle
IPS technology allows a viewing angle of 178 ° so that at least two people can view the screen at the same time without complaining of drops in color quality or contrast.
10-bit simultaneous color display
ColorEdge monitors allow simultaneous 10-bit * color display based on a 16-bit LUT (Look-up Table) when using DisplayPort or HDMI input. This means that over a billion colors can be displayed at the same time. This is 64 times more colors than the capabilities of an 8-bit display and is due to the even smoother gradient and decreased delta E between two neighboring tones.
* 10-bit color display requires graphics card and software compatible with 10-bit display. 10-bit display is only possible through a DisplayPort. Connection via HDMI is only possible for devices that recognize Deep Color.
Individual factory adjustment
Gamma values are adjusted at the factory for each monitor individually. The red, green and blue gamma values are measured from 0 to 255. Using the 16-bit LUT (Look-up Table), the desired values are then set for the 256 tones.
Consistent brightness and color display with DUE
LCD monitors are characterized by uneven brightness and chroma in certain areas of the screen. The EIZO patented Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function compensates for these irregularities and guarantees a stable display over the entire screen surface.
Quick, easy and lossless hardware calibration without compromise
To ensure that a monitor always displays the same file the same way throughout its lifetime, regular calibration is essential. All ColorEdge monitors use the lossless hardware calibration procedure for this purpose. Unlike software calibration, which always carries the risk of losing display quality, hardware calibration not only creates a correction profile for the graphics card but also adjusts the monitor's LUT (Look-Up-Table).

Quick Color Match software - from monitor to inherently easy printing
Quick Color Match, an easy-to-use software that allows you to balance monitor and print on top of each other: Quick Color Match first of all allows you to appreciate on the monitor how your photo will be reproduced by the printer, automatically taking over the optimal settings for the monitor, retouching software, and printer. You can focus on editing your photos and printing your work quickly and easily.
The central piece: the EIZO ASIC circuit
All ColorEdge models are equipped with the ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) specially developed by EIZO for the needs of the graphics industry. The chip uses its own algorithms to process colors and gradients with great precision.
The ASIC chip is used for factory setting of the gamma level of each monitor in order to allow the different hues to be represented as desired and without color-banding.
Connection with a single USB Type-C cable
The CS2731 is the first monitor in the ColorEdge range to be equipped with a USB Type C port with 60W. With a single USB Type-C cable, you can watch videos, transfer USB signals, and power a connected device such as a smartphone or laptop. No additional cables are needed for calibration either.
The USB Type-C port delivers up to 60W of power, so even high-end laptops stay charged while you work. This frees up space for additional external power.
Multiple connections, including USB type C
The CS2740 supports various video formats via USB-C, HDMI and DisplayPort. This means that the monitor can not only be integrated into PC workflows, but also be used with HDMI players.
Minimal reflection thanks to the anti-reflective panel
This ColorEdge monitor features an anti-glare IPS panel for optimal readability. It further features dimming technology to minimize flicker, prevent eye fatigue and create a comfortable working environment.
Flicker-free images
The ColorEdge series monitors adapt the brightness so that the user does not perceive any flicker thus avoiding eye strain. And this without any renunciation, like eg. color stability.
Adjustable foot
Position the monitor to have a comfortable position with an ideal viewing angle and allow you to show your work to your clients and colleagues. The monitor has a flexible stand which can be adjusted for height, tilt, rotation and portrait mode.
