Matthews weight bags are available in different shapes and weights. They are used to secure the bases of lighting stand feet and set panels. Many are equipped with handles for hanging them on hooks or uprights. Some have two fins to allow them to be draped over the feet of lighting stands.

Most are made from cordura nylon, some are vinyl-covered and are waterproof.

Some weight bag models are supplied empty, for convenience and economy. They can be filled with sand or any other type of weight of your choice, and emptied for storage or transport.
