Take control of the most demanding projects using the immense power of the newest member of the Corvid product range. The Corvid 44 12G is AJA's ultra-fast and compact PCIe 3.0 8-lane I/O card with four bidirectional 12G-SDI HD-BNC connections, designed for today's most demanding video and audio workflows. The Corvid 12G 44 is available in multiple configurations, including full height or low profile, with passive or active cooling.

Whether you're working with HFR 8K/4K/UltraHD, 2K/HD, SD, Deep Colour and/or HDR, enjoy the quality and peace of mind that the Corvid 44 12G brings to your projects. Supporting 10-bit 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, up to 12-bit colour spaces, the Corvid 44 12G provides capture and output via 12G-SDI, which is also backwards compatible with 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI and 1.5G-SDI. The bidirectional 12G-SDI ports offer immense flexibility for simultaneous capture and playback for a range of solutions.

Multi-format 12G-SDI PCIe I/O card

The Corvid 44 12G has four bidirectional 12G-SDI connectors with a reference input. 8K input or output is possible using four 12G-SDI cables, and 4K/UltraHD I/O can be achieved with a single 12G-SDI or 6G-SDI cable, or four 3G-SDI cables. 2K/HD I/O can be achieved with a single SDI cable or dual SDI link, whilst enabling simultaneous capture and monitoring via SDI.

Flexible frame rate support

The Corvid 44 12G supports 8K (8192 x 4320) and UltraHD2 (7680 x 4320) high frame rate (HFR) workflows up to 50/60p for the most demanding applications. Cinema frame rates of 23.98, 24, 47.95 and 48p are also supported in 8K, 4K and 2K.

High frame rates are not limited to 8K and UltraHD2 with the Corvid 44 12G, multiple 4K, UltraHD, 1080p and 720p HD inputs and outputs are also supported at frame rates up to 50/60p, making the Corvid 12G extremely flexible for your current and future needs

Hardware keyer

The integrated hardware downstream keyer enables easy real-time overlaying of graphics and images on input video.

LTC and reference input

The Corvid 44 12G provides a switchable external LTC/Reference connection on the rear of the card. A second LTC input is available on an internal connector to provide additional reference to the Corvid 44 12G.

RS-422

An integrated RS-422 connection is available either as an external connection on the full-height Corvid 44 12G or as an internal connection on the low-profile Corvid 44 12G. RS-422 enables control of external devices for precise frame-accurate inputs and outputs.
