Arri SkyPanel S360-C LED Softlight, standard diffusion
ARRI continues to expand its LED range with the introduction of the massive SkyPanel S360-C LED Softlight. Supported by a weight-reducing carbon fibre yoke, the panel measures 87 x 128 cm. It uses interchangeable thermoplastic diffusers ranging from Lite to Heavy to soften the light and wrap it around the subject. There is also an intensifier that increases output for long-range use. A medium Standard diffuser is included with the fixture. The SkyPanel produces the approximate equivalent of an 8000 W tungsten softlight while consuming a maximum of only 1500 W. Using technology originally designed for the Fresnel L7-C, the SkyPanel S360-C is fully colour tuneable, allowing output ranging from a warm 2800 K to an icy blue 10,000 K, and it also uses the full RGB+W colour range with hue and saturation control for fine adjustments. A green-magenta adjustment of plus or minus 1/8 is also possible, so if you are lighting for a blue or green screen, you can simply select the chosen colour. Impressive aperture Softlights are all about size — the larger the aperture, the better. With the S360-C, the surface area is more than 5.8 times larger than the S60 and produces flattering soft light with a wide beam angle of 105°. The light will wrap around large objects and carry much further than the smaller SkyPanels. Superior brightness With more than 120,000 lumens, the S360-C is one of the brightest LED fixtures available. Compared to the S60-C, the S360-C is more than four times brighter and maintains precise colour quality and tunability. Consuming only 1500 watts, the S360-C is twice as bright as a 4000 W tungsten softlight and more than three times brighter than a 12,000 W tungsten space light. With an efficiency of more than 80 lumens per watt, the S360-C is very environmentally friendly, which is incredibly important for such a powerful fixture. Integrated wireless DMX SkyPanel has always had a multitude of ways to control light output; DMX, RDM, Art-Net, sACN, 5-pin XLR and Ethernet. The S360-C adds another important communication method, and one that requires no cables: wireless DMX via LumenRadio. Integrated into every S360-C, the CMRX chip enables DMX and RDM communication without the constraints of cables and distribution equipment. Simply connect a compatible LumenRadio transmitter to the S360-C and you are ready to go. Using the 5-pin DMX output on the S360-C also allows other non-wireless SkyPanels to be daisy-chained into the DMX network. Full colour adjustment Like all ARRI LED fixtures, the S360-C is fully colour tuneable. Easily adjust the colour temperature from 2800 K to 10,000 K with plus/minus green/magenta control and access the full colour range with hue and saturation control, RGBW mixing, digital gels, source matching or CIE x,y coordinates. Reaching more than 85% of the colours in the Rec 2020 colour space, it is now simple to create the desired look and colour directly on set. Large-scale lighting effects With SkyPanel firmware 3.0, powerful lighting effects were introduced to the SkyPanel family. And with the introduction of the S360-C, these effects are even more impressive. On the large aperture of the S360-C, dynamic lighting effects appear more spectacular and powerful. The fire effect covers an immense area, the police car effect can illuminate a street, and the paparazzi effect resembles an entire press corps taking photographs. With the simple adjustment of a few buttons, impressive and realistic effects are at the crew's fingertips. Interchangeable panels SkyPanel is one of the only LED softlights to allow the diffusion panels in front of the LEDs to be changed. This feature is also offered with the S360-C. Interchangeable diffusion panels are available in Lite, Standard, Heavy and Intensifier. The intensifier increases the brightness of the S360 by 50%, allowing the light to be projected even further. Carbon fibre yoke The S360-C comes as standard with a state-of-the-art carbon fibre yoke. This yoke offers a weight reduction of more than 50% compared to a typical steel yoke and can support 10 times the weight of the fixture. Dedicated remote control The S360-C housing features a docking port for the SkyPanel remote control. Capable of controlling the S360-C via a USB cable, the SkyPanel remote control can be attached to the docking port at the rear of the fixture using the remote's rear magnet. The docking port provides a place where the remote can rest or, if the fixture is upside down, a location for an additional set of controls more within reach.

This wide control range enables a very high CRI of 95 and a TLCI of 90. All these functions, as well as dimming from 0 to 100%, can be adjusted locally with the SkyPanel's built-in controller, with an optional wired remote control, standard DMX, or wireless DMX and RDM via integrated LumenRadio. In addition to the appropriate inputs and outputs for these functions, the fixture also features USB-A and Ethernet connections for DMX configuration, fixture status and control, as well as firmware updates from a USB stick, Windows or Mac. The SkyPanel S360-C can be used worldwide, thanks to its included 100-240 VAC power supply. In addition to the power supply, the fixture comes with a Junior spigot (28 mm) and a standard diffuser. This version of the fixture is equipped with a manual carbon fibre yoke and is supplied with a Schuko power cable.
