Tiffen Pro-Mist 1/8 72mm Filter

The Tiffen Pro-Mist 1/8 72mm filter helps reduce the intensity of highlights whilst noticeably decreasing overall contrast. This filter is particularly useful for softening and smoothing facial wrinkles and other imperfections. Whilst designed for cinematographic use, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. Unlike traditional diffusion or blur filters, Pro-Mist filters result in little detail loss across the image. The 1/8 density offers less contrast and highlight reduction than the 1/4, whilst still allowing for a soft, pastel light quality.
Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings.
