Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/8 77mm Filter

The Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/8 77mm Filter helps to reduce highlight intensity whilst slightly decreasing overall contrast. This filter is particularly useful for softening and reducing facial wrinkles and other imperfections. Whilst designed for cinematographic use, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. Unlike a traditional diffusion filter or soft focus filter, Pro-Mist filters preserve image detail. The 1/8 density offers less contrast and highlight reduction than the 1/4, whilst allowing for a soft, pastel light quality.
Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
