AJA 8-Channel 24-bit AES 3G SDI Embedder/De-embedder
The OG-3G-AMD is a state-of-the-art 8-channel AES audio embedder/de-embedder compatible with openGear, featuring one 3G-SDI input and output supporting up to 1080p 60. Simple user controls enable channel activation and mapping. An openGear 10x BNC rear connector module is included.
Designed for use in high-density 2RU openGear frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR frame, the new DashBoard software compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux provides remote control and monitoring of openGear architecture and offers convenient options compliant with industry standards for configuration, monitoring and control via PC or local area network.
Connectivity
The OG-3G-AMD provides one 3G-SDI input and one 3G-SDI output with four AES BNC connectors in each direction. The OG-3G-AMD automatically detects and configures the input video standard. AES inputs are sample rate converted (SRC) to 48 kHz synchronous with the video input. Audio de-embedding is always functional, providing four AES outputs. Audio embedding is user-selectable, by channel pair, to either embed input AES audio or pass through input 3G-SDI audio. Simple user controls via DashBoard software enable channel activation and mapping.
openGear compatibility
The openGear standard ensures that AJA cards will be compatible with other openGear products from certified openGear partners. With a growing list of products, openGear represents the future of frame-based products.
Flexible I/O
The modular rear panel enables custom I/O connections per card (included with individual cards).
Integrated safety
The optional redundant power supply provides a secondary power source in the event of main power failure.
Ethernet access
A standard Ethernet connection enables access to the frame via the Dashboard application for global frame communication.
