High camera connectivity with dual optical connector for UHB transmission/3G transmission
The HDCU-5000 features two standard optical connectors for UHB transmission and conventional 3Gbps transmission at the rear.
The following models can be directly connected to the optical connector.
- UHB transmission connector: HDC-5000 series
- 3Gbps connector: HDC-3500/3100, HDC-2000 series, HDC-4300, HDC-4800
Furthermore, like the "HDCU-5500", by connecting the single-mode fibre kit "HKCU-SM50" on the CCU side, you can also connect with single-mode fibre from the camera.
Support for camera AC power supply and long-distance transmission up to 4 km
By supporting AC power supply for the camera system, the maximum transmission distance between the camera and the CCU is 4 km.
Support for 4K signal output as standard
A 12G-SDI (x4) terminal supporting 4K signal input/output is provided as standard, and a single 12G-SDI cable can be used to transmit 4K signals to downstream equipment. It also supports output with 3G Quad-Link. Furthermore, by introducing the extension 12G-SDI interface kit "HKCU-SDI50", it is possible to support up to 8 outputs.
Support for 4K and UHD TRUNK/UHD PROMPTER signal transmission through UHB transmission
A new signal transmission system between the camera and the CCU has been developed to support UHB (Ultra High Bitrate) transmission, which enables bidirectional transmission of 2x 4K signals. By connecting with the multiformat portable camera "HDC-5500" supporting UHB transmission, it supports the UHD TRUNK system (4K signal transmission from camera to CCU)/UHD PROMPTER (4K signal transmission from CCU to camera). We support the realisation of flexible operations accordingly.
Equipped with various input/output interfaces
In addition to four SDI OUT outputs, four assignable terminals (SDI I/O terminals) that can flexibly allocate the number of input/output signals according to field operation are provided. In addition to being used as SDI OUT 8 output in the menu settings, it can also be used as return input, HD prompter input or HD trunk output. By changing the settings according to the application, you can support various systems.
Support for full IP control
By adding the optional "HKCU-SFP50" card, bidirectional communication of video, audio and intercom with IP (SMPTE ST 2110) becomes possible. IP Tally (TSL UMD V5.0) is supported as standard. Furthermore, the "Live Element Orchestrator" solution that supports efficient use of IP equipment, the control configuration software "HZCU-CNFG50" to support Ember+ protocol, and the SNMP agent software "HZCU-SNMP50" to support SNMP monitoring can be installed and support full IP control. Furthermore, by introducing the ST 2110 interface kit for HFR "HKCU-SFP52", it also supports HFR output in ST 2110 and supports up to 8x HD speed.
Web menu control function
By entering the IP address of the main unit in a web browser, you can perform various CCU settings (input/output allocation, output format selection, etc.) and monitor the CCU information list (optical level monitoring, error message monitoring).
Equipped with a colour-changing front indicator
A colour-changing indicator is integrated on the front panel. When the camera image is broadcast, it lights up in white flow, and when outputting a colour bar, it lights up in colour bar. You can visually understand the output status of the video signal.
